Raised into rodeo as a child, Skip started riding steers for fun at age 6. By 13 he was competing against the "Big Guys" in bull riding. He rode bulls and bareback horses until he got married and started a family. At a rodeo with his kids he was asked to announce the show. A friend told him later that he had missed his calling. Realizing that he was able to have fun and be with his kids a new career was born.
For the past 27 years Skip has announced rodeos throughout the great United States. He is known for his knowledge of rodeo, his ability to get the fans involved and his interaction with the cowboys.
